A proud veteran with nearly 30 years of experience in the construction industry, I started my career at the age of 22 with just a bag of tools, a van, and a dream. From the beginning, my work centered on dependable construction, including expert roof installations and repairs for countless homes and businesses. Over the past decade, I’ve also expanded my expertise to the solar industry, where I’ve been helping Texans make the transition to renewable energy. My hands-on approach, extensive experience in both construction and solar, and unwavering commitment to quality have been the foundation of my work at RE of Texas, where I focus on delivering complete home protection and sustainable energy solutions that truly make a difference.
Humberto Montemayor, Sales Director
With over 30 years of experience in Sales & Sales Management, I have spent the last seven years focusing on roofing and solar energy, making happy customers my top priority. I am dedicated to helping clients transition to durable home solutions and clean, sustainable energy systems tailored to their unique needs. My goal is to ensure every customer has a seamless and positive experience from start to finish.
Maura Wilson, Project Manager
Hey there! I’m Maura, a proud San Antonian and project manager at Renewable Energy of Texas since 2022. I specialize in managing the behind-the-scenes aspects of our solar and roofing projects to ensure everything runs smoothly. My responsibilities include pulling permits, securing HOA approvals, reviewing contracts, and obtaining Permission to Operate (PTO) for our clients. I’m dedicated to making sure every home solution project is executed efficiently, so our clients can enjoy the benefits of a durable roof and clean energy without any hassle. When I’m not managing solar projects, you’ll find me spending time with my two dogs, Allie and Watson, or working on my next home DIY project.
Laureen Aponte, Marketing & Sales Lead Specialist
With more than 25 years experience in customer service, spanning from senior corporate environments to healthcare settings, I bring a wealth of expertise which includes: more than 15 years in technological sales, networking communications, and over a decade in patient case management. I resides with my husband on our small homestead in South East Texas. Being self sufficient and environmentally minded is something that is incredibly important to me.

As RE of Texas, a leading provider of comprehensive roofing and energy solutions, we pride ourselves on being a truly green business. We integrate sustainable practices into every aspect of our operations. Our team works remotely across the State, eliminating the need for a physical office and significantly reducing our carbon footprint. We are a paperless operation, relying on digital communication and electronic document management to minimize waste. Additionally, we use energy-efficient LED bulbs in all of our devices and lighting, further reducing our environmental impact. About half of our team members have solar systems installed at home, which not only supports our commitment to renewable energy but also showcases the benefits of solar firsthand.
By running our business in this sustainable way, we not only keep our costs low, but also significantly reduce our environmental impact, allowing us to continue loving and protecting Mother Earth. This commitment to sustainability is at the core of who we are, and we believe it’s essential to lead by example in order to create a cleaner, greener future for all.
